NFB-NEWSLINE® is a service of the National Federation of the Blind.
NFB-NEWSLINE® is free and available to anyone who is blind, visually impaired or print-disabled. It is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and provides the information you need when you need it, on your schedule. NFB-NEWSLINE® offers over 400 publications to choose from, including national newspapers like The New York Times and the Wall Street Journal, International newspapers such as the London Telegraph and Japan Times, breaking news sources like CNN, BBC and ESPN Online, countless state newspapers, and magazines including PC World and Mac World, Readers Digest, Family Circle and many more. NFB-NEWSLINE® also has TV Listings so you can keep track of your favorite shows.
Another feature of NFB-NEWSLINE® is the localized weather alerts. NFB-NEWSINE® subscribers can simply sign into NFB-NEWSLINE® and any available emergency weather alerts will be read to you on the spot. NFB-NEWSLINE® Mobile uses your device’s GPS so the weather alerts are localized to wherever you are.
NFB-NEWSLINE® can be accessed using this Mobile App, but also with your touch tone telephone or cell phone, on Demand Emails, a secure website, or portable players such as the NLS Talking Book Player and Victor Reader Stream 2nd Generation.
