Brief Description
Blind and Visually Impaired Services (BVIS) provides statewide assistance and services to enable the achievement of vocational and personal independence by the citizens of Indiana with blindness and visual impairment. Individuals may be referred by Vocational Rehabilitation or can be self-referred.

Services Offered
- Daily Living Skills/Independent Living Skills Training
- BVIS provides services to eligible Hoosier’s that are blind or visually impaired.
- In-Home Services
- Provides a broad range of in-home and community-based services to older adults.
- Information and Referral
- Provides referrals to Area Agencies on Aging and information on other local aging services.
