Statement of Purpose

Operational support of current commercial janitorial, hardware MRO and office product distributors; ensuring excellent service to channel partners related to product/pricing inquiries as well as annual certification documents. Support Channel Operations with creations of quarterly files such as customized price files, wholesale supported file. Coordinate compliance functions to ensure AbilityOne authorized distributors comply with AbilityOne distribution policies and compliance procedures. Review distributor contracts and coordinate noncompliance actions with the AbilityOne Commission. Support ETS Team in dealer and service award contracts compliance monitoring.

Required Education, Training and Experience

Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited university or college preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience is also acceptable.

Training and Specialized Knowledge

Must possess attention to details and project management skills and intermediate to advanced computer skills (i.e., Microsoft Office 2007 and Excel). Familiarization with NIB databases a plus. Knowledge of retail market to include distribution/supply chain is a plus.

3-5 years of business related experience. Knowledge of federal acquisition and channel management desired.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

Support the administrative and operational activities between nonprofit agencies and assigned commercial distributors to include the following duties:
?Provide product, Non-Profit Agency and program data support to distributors as needed.
?Monitor and respond to pricing/product inquiries from distributors.
?Create quarterly customized distributor price files per specific distributor requirements.
?Ensure that AbilityOne Program information and requirements are effectively communicated and followed by distributors and Non-Profit Agencies.
?Ensure that updated distributor/wholesale shipping and routing requirements are properly communicated to the NPAs and assist in issue resolution related to non-compliance instances by NPAs.
?Manage new NPA set up with distributors/wholesalers.
?Participate in NAEPB subcommittee group as channel operational point of contact.
?Monitor NPA compliance and responsiveness to distributor requirements.
?Request, collect and consolidate quarterly distributor sales reports per the Commission Distribution Policy.
?Support the creation and validation of quarterly Wholesale Supported File for the Commission.
?Collect annual and ad hoc compliance documents request from distributors; insurance liability, COO certifications, supplier agreement letters, environmental certifications.
?Assist with quarterly set up of new items to wholesalers and stocking partners per their individual requirements to ensure timely introduction to the MAS channel.
?Assist in annual Wholesale Supported File review project.
?Coordinate assigned distributors’ AbilityOne product catalog review internally to ensure inclusion of appropriate AbilityOne products.
?Coordinate distributor and service contract awardee verification and monitoring activities with the ETS Department.
